Value of Water Study
IRWA
completed a willingness-to-pay study for healthy fish habitat
study among both members and non-members of IRWA. The survey
was completed by mailing the survey to random non-members
and members living within the watershed. 205 non-members returned
the survey, and 155 members returned the survey. The average
willingness to pay for healthy fish habitat was $31 dollars
for non-members and $58 for members. The report also includes
analysis of the other questions regarding recreational use
of the rivers and ponds in the Ipswich Basin and respondent
information.
