IPSWATCH
IRWA was one of eleven partner groups from the public, academic, and private sectors who worked to develop the "Ipswich-Parker Suburban Watershed Channel" (a.k.a. IPSWATCH), which coordinated environmental monitoring efforts in these two river basins.

IPSWATCH was funded by the Environmental Protection Agency's EMPACT Program. (EMPACT stands for "Environmental Monitoring for Public Access and Community Tracking.) The EMPACT Program strives to make timely, accurate, and understandable environmental information available to people across the country so that communities and individuals can make informed, day-to-day decision-making to protect their health and the environment.
