This peaceful afternoon invites you to slow down, connect with nature, and reflect on the quiet beauty of winter’s arrival.\n\n\n\nWe’ll begin with a mindful walk, guided by Kent Harrop, along the trails to Julia Bird Reservation—moving through the stillness of the landscape and observing the subtle signs of transition. Upon returning to IRWA, we’ll gather around the fire overlooking the river for a simple solstice ritual led by Stacy Keane Blagg, celebrating the coming of winter, the turning of the seasons, and the light within our community. Be sure to dress warmly.\n\n\n\nJoin us in welcoming the deep peace of winter.\n\n\n\nThis event is at capacity. Please email us ( mailto:cvilla@ipswichriver.org ) to be put on the waitlist and we will notify you if space opens up. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis hike is part of a series of events Ipswich River Watershed Association is holding in conjunction with North Shore Spirituality in Nature Group (NS SING). NS SING provides monthly outdoor events exploring the watershed once a month via hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking or canoeing.  SING offers a contemplative, meditative experience providing opportunities for deepening spiritually in the midst of nature.\n
