DESCRIPTION:\nWhen: Friday, June 5, 2026 | 8:45 PM – 10:30 PMWhere: Riverbend, Ipswich River Watershed Association Headquarters 143 County Road, Ipswich\n\n\n\nMembers are invited to join us after dark for a magical evening of moth watching at Riverbend! \n\n\n\nJack Forrester of the Caterpillar Lab ( https://www.caterpillarlab.org ) will be on site with his illuminated sheet and special lights to attract moths.  We’ll also spend time searching the nearby habitats for native caterpillars. Moth activity peaks as the night deepens, so we’ll be staying well past sunset — come ready to explore!\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\n\n\n\n8:45 PM — Arrival\n\n\n\n9:00 PM — Descend to the moth viewing area\n\n\n\n10:30 PM — Program ends\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Bring & Wear:\n\n\n\n\nFlashlight\n\n\n\nWater\n\n\n\nLayered clothing appropriate for the weather\n\n\n\nSturdy footwear for walking trails to the viewing site\n\n\n\nBug spray\n\n\n\n\nA Note on Riverbend: Riverbend is a wild, natural area.
