Ocean of Rivers: Renewing Connections in Nature

To create awareness of herring restoration efforts and renew the Ipswich River community’s feeling of interconnection with nature, artist and Co-Artistic Director of Fort Point Theater Channel Anne Loyer has partnered with the Ipswich River Watershed Association (IRWA) to create the Ocean of Rivers Project. “This dance of species happens unseen around us,” says Loyer, “This project will use art to make visible the interconnections of nature and humans, and weave the human story into the fabric of other species.“

A Walk with Ipswich River Executive Directors

During a weekend of unseasonably glorious weather, walkers gathered together at the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary in Topsfield for the Directors’ Walk & Talk. The walk, led by Wayne Castonguay and Amy Weidnesaul, was a chance for supporters of the Ipswich River Watershed Association and Mass Audubon to learn about how these two organizations are working together, directly from the Executive Directors.
