Ipswich River Recognized as a Trailblazer!

At last night’s 20th Anniversary Celebration Gala “A Toast to the Trailblazers” held by the Essex National Heritage Area Commission, The Ipswich River Watershed Association came in second place in our category Preserving This Special Region. “This was an amazing surprise, especially considering how many incredible organizations we have that make our region so special. Thanks to all of you who voted for us!” says Executive Director, Wayne Castonguay. Ipswich River was one of the 130 organizations that were nominated recognized with a special toast at the event and is confirmation of how important clean and healthy water is to our region. Says Wayne, “congratulations to our many colleagues that work so hard every day to make Essex County a wonderful place to live, work and play and to our incredible partners, Essex Heritage for leading the charge.”
