We love the Ipswich River, and we know you do too! It’s where we go to paddle, play, explore, and discover. It’s our source of water and is a crucial habitat for lots of our favorite animals.
In this season of love, we’re inviting you to make a valentine, write a poem, or letter to the river or the creatures that live in it.
Did you meet a turtle last summer that you can’t wait to see in the spring? Write it a Valentine! Did you have a glorious paddle in a kayak that you think about all the time? Commemorate that day with a poem! We want to see what the Ipswich River means to you are we are accepting valentines and letters on behalf of the river!
We’re accepting submissions three ways:

- Email it to [email protected]
- Drop it off at the golden fish mailbox on the footbridge over the river in downtown Ipswich.
