Welcome Kim Hodlin to the Ipswich River Team!

Hello! My name is Kim Hodlin. I’m the new Development and Administration Coordinator with Ipswich River. I’m excited to join the team and help advance Ipswich River Watershed Association’s mission to preserve the river!

I’m originally from the North Shore and grew up in North Andover. There I gained an appreciation for the natural landscape of New England and the wildlife that share our home. My passion for nature led me to study Ecology at the University of Maryland, where my interest in conservation only grew.

During my Sophomore year, I had the privilege of spending a couple weeks studying abroad in Belize helping to conduct research on fish populations in the Caribbean. The next two years, I interned at the Franklin Park Zoo and the Maryland Zoo, respectively, caring for the zoo animals and studying their behaviors. Following graduation, I joined the non-profit industry, gaining skills in communications, fundraising, event planning, record keeping, customer service, data analysis, and lobbying.

Please join us in welcoming Kim to the Ipswich River Team!
