Advancing Habitat Restoration for Migratory Fish in the Ipswich River

Join the Ipswich River Watershed Association for an in-depth look at a collaborative effort to restore vital habitat for migratory fish like river herring and shad. In partnership with the Towns of Ipswich and Topsfield, the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries, the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management, and Gomez & Sullivan Engineers, this project developed a comprehensive habitat assessment and restoration plan focused on improving aquatic connectivity and riverine conditions throughout the Ipswich River.

This webinar will share key findings from the assessment, identify impairments affecting fish at all life stages, and outline next steps for restoring habitat to support the long-term recovery of these iconic species.
