River Action Party: Winter Solstice Kick-Off

As we near the end of the year and inch ever closer to the shortest day of the year, we’re thinking about our resolutions for the river in 2024. The winter solstice is a time to reflect, to gather close, and to light a flame of hope for the future – so let’s do that together!

What’s an action party?
An action party is a social event with a cause. River Action Parties consist of light refreshments, a rotating playlist of great music, a few games, and at least one action step to protect the Ipswich River and surrounding watersheds.

Join us for cookies and hot chocolate, mulled cider, and a cozy bonfire outside (weather permitting).  Come for 30 minutes or 2 hours and meet other river lovers during this festive kickoff!

This kickoff meeting will be on a Sunday evening, though most future River Action Parties will take place on weekday evenings.
