Wings Over Water: Birding the Ipswich River

Join us for a peaceful paddle along the beautiful Ipswich River as we keep our eyes—and ears—open for the birds that call this river corridor home.

Our special guest is Miles Brengle, a naturalist and ornithologist who grew up right here in Ipswich. With experience as a sea kayak guide in Washington and a research assistant studying migratory birds across the Western Hemisphere, Miles brings deep knowledge and a local’s eye for the wildlife of our watershed.

Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just bird-curious, this paddle offers a chance to experience the river from a new perspective.
