Paddle with Wisdom of Bill McKibben
When: Saturday, October 3rd, 9:00 – 12:00 PM
Where: Riverbend, IRWA Headquarters, Ipswich
Join us for a contemplative paddle accompanied by wisdom readings of Bill McKibben, environmental prophet, faculty at Middlebury College, VT and author of many books, including his first The End of Nature a clarion call in 1989 to wake up to the reality of Climate Change. Through his nationwide climate organization 350.org he continues to believe that ordinary citizens have the power to bring healing and hope to our natural world.
Savor the Autumn colors! Paddle with migrating geese, beaver, turtles and if we’re lucky, otters.
This paddle is a partnership between IRWA and the North Shore Spirituality in Nature Group (NS SING).
