Increasing Regional Flood Resiliency In the Howlett Brook Watershed

The Howlett Brook Watershed Restoration project will improve fish passage in Howlett Brook, a tributary to the Ipswich River, by prioritizing and removing barriers to passage for eastern brook trout and river herring. This exciting project will require ample public input as the engineers seek to design structures that benefit fish and people. As the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program funding comes to a close and 13 stream crossing replacements have been designed, we would like to give you, the public, an opportunity to weigh in on this exciting project.
