Gardening at Riverbend

The Ipswich River Watershed Association is fortunate to have the Riverbend property and demonstration gardens with native plantings to support local diversity. Volunteers meet monthly to address ongoing upkeep and learn about nature based gardening. Master Gardener and Ipswich resident, Catherine Carney-Feldman leads the group and shares her expertise. Bring hand tools including pruning saw, hand clippers, loppers, weeding tool as well as gloves and clothing suitable for the weather. We plan on meeting 4/5, 5/3, 6/7, 7/12, 8/2, 9/6, 10/4, 11/1 .

Note that the first event on April 4th will be only be focused on evaluating the state of the gardens and pruning shrubs if needed.
