Meet Us at the Dock: Get River-Ready

Wednesday Evenings May 20, May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17 | 5:00–7:00 PM

New to the dock? Feeling a little rusty? Just curious about what a membership to Ipswich River Watershed Association looks like in practice? Come down on a Wednesday evening and let us show you the ropes.

We’re hosting Dock Help Hours this spring — five Wednesday evenings where friendly volunteers and longtime members will be on hand to help you get comfortable getting in and out of boats, answer your questions, and make the river feel a little less intimidating.

This is a great opportunity for:

  • New members who want to build confidence before heading out on their own
  • Current members looking for a refresher after a long winter
  • Member-curious folks who’ve been wondering how it all works

Come for five minutes or stay the full two hours — there’s no agenda, no pressure, and no silly questions. Just real people who love this river and want to help you love it too.

Getting there:

  • Park near the office or in the additional parking area along the driveway
  • If you’d like to paddle, grab a paddle and lifevest, then head down the trail to the dock — our friendly volunteers will meet you there.

Not a member yet? No problem. You’re welcome to join us, and you can sign up right on site.

Drop in anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 PM on any of the five dates.
